Versioning
How the Rovenue SDKs are versioned.
All three Rovenue SDKs — Swift (Rovenue), Kotlin (io.rovenue:sdk), and React Native (@rovenue/react-native-sdk) — are thin façades over a single Rust core library called librovenue. The native SDKs (Swift and Kotlin) version in lockstep with the core: their version number is the exact librovenue revision they embed. The current core line is 0.6.x.
The React Native package is published separately on npm and may trail the native versions for a release or two while the JavaScript layer catches up — always install the latest from npm rather than pinning to match the native version.
Rovenue SDKs follow Semantic Versioning:
- Patch (
0.6.x): bug fixes and internal improvements with no API change. Safe to adopt immediately. - Minor (
0.x.0): new, backwards-compatible features. Existing call sites continue to compile without modification. - Major (
x.0.0): breaking changes. Breaking changes are announced in the release notes for the corresponding GitHub release before they ship.
The native SDKs advance together, so an iOS app pinned to Swift 0.6.0 and an Android app on Kotlin 0.6.0 run the identical core behaviour.
There is no separate "migrating from Flows" guide: the Flow → Funnel rename is recorded in the BREAKING entries of each SDK's CHANGELOG (packages/sdk-swift/CHANGELOG.md, packages/sdk-kotlin/CHANGELOG.md, packages/sdk-rn/CHANGELOG.md).
